indeed, gao xia's suggestion reminded me i should invite you to show in the uw-madison design gallery too, if you had not showed here. gao xia did her mfa show here and it was a blast. everybody still remembers her show even if they never met her. let me know i will talk to the curator. you must also know sherperd piper's work. she also showed here, but it was before i came to town. i saw her solo show in baltimore museum of art when i was there for a conference.

Sound good, I will do so.
And awesome move! Now, my part of family is also in a very warm/hot place. It is true that new place could be harder for fresh face; but I think you would be fine soon. I still use my NY number, stay in touch.

i know of your work! i have seen them somewhere else, but don't remember where (the first 3 installation views) they are striking! can you tell me a little more about the three first pieces with the silvery wires hanging> where were they installed and what is the theme/title or inspiration behind it? i also love the tofu works, working with perishable materials presents such challenge, but that's also the fun of it. every one of your pieces is so different yet each in its way shows a deep understanding of that particular material.. the last pieces, the red tread had such strong root in chinese culture yet its presentation is so simple and original its sensibility is at the same time asian and western. again, one of my favorite pieces. it is impressive to see the scope of your work! were you trained at cranbrook?
